After university, I returned home to PNG to work in my father’s business, Coffee Plantation and Building Construction. I went on to Plantation Management in the PNG highlands for several years.

I returned to Australia working in the Hotel and Hospitality Industry

Whilst owning a hotel in Cootamundra (Bradman’s Birthplace) I became involved in community issues and was elected for two terms on Cootamundra Shire Council. As a hotelier over many years was involved in supporting many community projects.

The opportunity arose to run my own Sanitair business on the Mid-North Coast of NSW, an area which I am familiar, where my parents settled after retiring from PNG, I played some football and also managed a hotel at a town called Coopernook. I call it an opportunity because that is what it is. An opportunity for a lifestyle change from the demands of the hospitality game, hours to suit yourself, a business that rewards effort in paradise. I intend to get involved in the local community in an endeavour to get a good work to lifestyle balance.

My wife Michelle and I have worked together for our entire marriage, some think that a miracle but we are a good team, and we have raised four wonderful children who are all successful in what they are doing and for that we are proud.
